April 10 - Bonus: For Michael

This was my husband's favorite for this day. We both liked the way the city and trees layered over the painter.

April 10 - Onward and Upward

I don't know why, but I imagine this is what the ride to Heaven looks likes.

April 9 - The King of News

In the Newseum (my very FAVORITE part of our DC experience), there was an exhibit on how Elvis changed celebrity news. It was cool and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Elvis. Always have. So best of both worlds.

April 8 - Capturing the Moment

There was something about this old guy taking a picture of the Lincoln Memorial that amused and touched me. He stood there for awhile trying to frame his picture just right. I watched and finally lifted my own camera to capture him capturing his vacation.

April 7 - Give Me a Booster

A rocket thingy...Air & Space Museum. (I'm so proud of that lens flare, I was practically giddy)

April 6 - Room Full of Rothko (Or What I Call Heaven)

I don't know if I've mentioned my love of Mark Rothko...not the man, necessarily, but the work. This was my first experience with the Black Rothkos...which I think would be an awesome band name. They were amazing. And my photo is in no way doing them justice. I wanted to move in to the Rothko Tower in the National Gallery and never leave.

April 5 - Sunset Over D.C.

We went on vacation to D.C., pictures for the next few days will be of our vacation.
