My husband grew winter carrots...well, winter carrots grew where he planted summer carrots. Supposedly winter carrots are sweeter. Something about sugars and cold weather. They tasted like dirt to me. Not even sweet dirt. But they were a very pretty bounty.

ReplyDeleteI took about 900 pictures of these damn carrots, this was the FIRST one. One shot, I thought I didn't like it and moved them to play with them...sigh. It's always either the very first shot or (in the old film days) the last frame on the roll.
